A free calculator that tells you what you really keep after eBay takes its cut.
Why it exists
eBay fee maths is easy to get wrong, and getting it wrong costs you every single time. You list something at 30 dollars expecting to make 20, then the payout arrives at 8. Repeat that across a hundred listings and it turns into real money.
Most free calculators make it worse. They apply one flat percentage to everything, they forget that eBay charges its fee on the shipping too, and they never tell you when they were last updated. A rate from two price rises ago looks exactly the same as a fresh one.
Where the numbers come from
Every rate is copied by hand from eBay's published selling fees and kept in one file, along with the date it was checked. That date is printed on every page. If it looks old to you, you can see that it looks old and go and check eBay yourself.
There are 20 categories on the site right now, and they were all last checked on 2026-08-14. I review them every three months, and any time eBay announces a change.
The site also handles something almost nobody else does. Most eBay categories use a sliding scale, where a higher band only applies to part of the sale. But a few, including jewelry, handbags, bullion and athletic shoes, switch the rate on the whole sale instead. On a 5,001 dollar jewelry sale that difference is over 300 dollars.
Who I am
My name is Hamza. I am a reseller and developer, and I built and maintain this site on my own.
There is no company behind it and no team. That is worth knowing, both because it means you are talking to the person who wrote the code when you email, and because it means mistakes are mine.
What this site is not
It is not connected to eBay. It does not give tax or accounting advice. The figures are estimates to help you price things, and your real eBay invoice is always the final word.
Your invoice can also include charges this tool does not model, such as international fees, Store subscription adjustments, seller rating penalties, or the cost of a dispute.
How it is paid for
Ads, and a small commission on some links to reseller software. The calculators stay free and nothing is locked behind a payment.
